• Why should I take this course?

  • Gain first hand experience in the safe operation and handling of cladding vacuum lifters.
    
    Proof of successful completion of this programme is now a compulsory requirement for many major management contractors.
    
    Likewise, many leading trade contractors will only allow contractors to work on their projects whose personnel have completed the programme. The course has been accepted by the UKCG (United Kingdom Contractors Group) as the only recognized proof of competence with vacuum lifters.

    • Selection of the correct lifter to ensure stability of the load
    • Daily pre-use inspection check list, including inspection and troubleshooting
    • Theory test and practical examination
    • The award of a certificate and photo card to successful candidates

• What does the course cost?

  • The cost for the course is £175 (excl. VAT). Payment can be made by credit card or BACS payment.

• How long is the course?

  • Training is for 1 day, starting at 9am and finishing no later than 5pm.

• What is the accreditation?

  • The course is accredited by the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB). The programme has been running since 2000, and is the only accredited training course for this equipment in Europe.
    
    It has also been accepted by the UKCG (UK Contractors Group) as the only recognized proof of competence with vacuum lifters. To ensure the cladding lifter course remains relevant, it is constantly reviewed and updated to take into account changes in legislation, standards and new equipment.
